Still updating....

I am still updating our blog!! However, I am new to the world of checking Facebook all the time, as well as Twitter, thanks to my new fancy phone (droid market, not to brag or anything) and I got hooked on Twitter because of two people, #1 P-Dub, AKA The Pioneer Woman www.thepioneerwoman.com and #2 Tori Spelling,http://twitter.com/TORIANDDEAN I love her and her show on Oxygen (.com)! If you watch her show you will know what I am talking about. Anyway so yeah you can follow me on Twitter @TaraApple.  Mike doesn't really get into all of that stuff he could really careless, but I care, therefore, he cares! :)  Check back in soon and I will have everyone updated on the past 8 months!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!!

WOW so I really am horrible about posting on our blog and I promised to keep everyone updated. So here I am a month later updating our blog, I am so sorry! Not that I think a lot of people actually read it but whatever. SO today is Jan. 1, 2010! That is scary and exciting at the same time! It is scary because time goes by WAY too fast - I mean I graduated from High School 7 years ago - Alisha has a baby, Lexi and Austin are growing up WAY too fast and about to be driving, Mike and I will celebrate 3 years of marriage this year anyway I can't really think about the past because I would have done a lot of things different (finish school, for one thing). Anyway SO we had a great holiday season this year! We went to his mom's and celebrated Christmas the weekend before Christmas since we were going back to AL and got to see the whole family including Mike's cousin Haley and her husband RJ who just moved up here from Florida and of course we got to see our Lily! :) Love that little girl more than I can even express with words - wish we were closer to everyone. The Friday before Christmas, Mike and I went ahead and swapped presents - #1 I did not want to spend money on wrapping paper and #2 I could not wait to show Mikey some of his gifts!! I got him some work lights for his "wood working shop" - aka our garage, I got him a lot of other things, book, coffee machine, etc. He is such a great husband and he got me my sewing maching!!! I am sure an old lady - but I signed up for a class next week to learn how to use it and actually make things so I am really excited - he also got me a book, movies, a watch, purfume, etc. I was very impressed!! THEN on Chritmas Eve, we drove down to Troy that night and got in around midnight. I love being at my home with my Mama and sister! I miss them both SO much it is SO hard to leave!!! They got us SOOO many great gifts, my mama got me UGG boots (LOVE them!) and got me tons of other things - oh and cook books (since Mike and I love to cook together)! Mike got gift cards to Sears and Dicks Sporting Goods - which he spend yesterday! Mama and Cherish also got my babies some yummy treats and a snuggie (yes it is very cheesy but Bella loves her snuggie!!) We also went to my Daddy's, which is always fun - me and Cherish love hanging out with daddy he is so goofy and funny!!! And I love all of his animals, he has cats, dogs, horses, goats, ducks, geese, etc so you get the point! Ok so picture time is over! Sorry I added a lot. Anyway so moving on - 2010 is going to be an exciting year and I cannot wait!!!!! For one thing - we are going to be debt free and going to try to start a family! I AM SOOOOOOO FLIPPING excited!! If you know me, then you know that I want to be a mommy more than anything and share that experience with my Mikey!!! He is going to be an awesome father (that is weird to say) but we both can't wait, we talk about our future children all the time! I am so excited for what God has in store for us - our lives are going to change a lot this year but all for the better! I have a feeling 2010 is going to be a GREAT YEAR!!!! To start this year, we are going to organize our house and get everything in order(which I am sure he is looking forward to - TOO BAD :)), first I am going to start with making pancakes for Mike, plus I am starving!!! I really do promise to keep everyone updated more!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!

Busy Busy....

As you can see, I pretty much do not update my blog very much!! I just do not like getting on the computer that much during the week. After we got home from work and cook/clean its my bedtime!! Not much has happened since the end of October. Mama and Cherish came to visit! We went to a Haunted House in Nashville, which did its part in scaring the crap out of us!! Pretty much they keep in you the dark for some reason the whole time, and if you know me, you know I am SO scared of the dark so I was holding on to Cherish and Mama for dear life! And not to mention I thought they were going to steal Cherish from us!! They all kept messing with her! So I REALLY held on to her!

Mike ended up getting sick for almost two weeks, it was some kind of weird cold, and of course we had our Financial Peace University class. Which by the way, we are proud graduates of!! We graduated this past Sunday night! Graduating does not mean you are past all the baby steps, in fact we are far from it but we completed every course and are VERY motivated to get everything paid off! Every time we see our Lily it makes us want our own babies even more! :)

We are so excited about the Holidays! (well I am) We are going to his mom's for Thanksgiving and back home to good ole' T-Roy for Christmas! BUT as for Black Friday Shopping Lexi and I are hitting the the stores! Mike first told me HECK to the NO so I thought I had to go by myself but Lexi is going to come back with us after Thanksgiving and we are going to have a girls day of shopping!! I can't believe she is 14 almost 15, makes me feel so old, but both her and Austin are growing up too fast - Austin is now my height and its weird but I am proud of both of them!

Mike's dad is stationed in Germany right now so we won't get to see them for the Holidays, but maybe we can soon! We cannot wait to visit them WAY over there and getting to see his step-siblings! As for Christmas, Mike and I are trying to make Christmas list for ourselves, its hard to think of things that I want! At this point of the year I am thinking of everyone else's presents!! Last year Mike and I did not do Christmas for each other, we just decided to buy a Wii, which I have probably used maybe 10 times and it sits in the computer room - and we had nothing to open on Christmas morning, we will NEVER do that again, I hated it! SO things are going to be different this year and I cant wait!
One more thing and I am done rambling. Mike is thinking about joining the Army - this is a big well HUGE decision. However, I 150% support my husband in anything he does! He grew up with the Army life and loved it, his dad has been a pilot for 25 years (I think) so Mike has a taste of what Army life would be like, me on the other hand, well I just watch the show "Army Wives". He wants to join and become a pilot, the Army has SO SO many benefits, i.e Health Insurance for one thing, and I could go back to school to be a nurse, like I dream about DAILY and maybe even stay at home some. AND most importantly my husband would have a job that he loves and that he can actually show his true talents with! He is so smart and can do SO much, but when you have bills and a life you have do what is best. We have always wanted to travel (I would like to visit Sitka, Alaska) and this would be the perfect opportunity. SO please keep us in your prayers as our lives may be changing to a crazy path but we are ready! I promise to keep everyone posted more often! I am not off to fold laundry - oh what fun!! :)
