Baby Apple update!

I am finally at my computer again!  It only took me over a month!  I only have 17 days until I am in the 2nd trimester. Yes, I am counting. I am 10 weeks 4 days today! In my mind, once I hit week 13 all of my 1st trimester symptoms are going to disappear.  Well that is what I am hoping for.  I am starting to feel better, I am not as tired, I still need naps though if I do a lot in one day.  Dinner is STILL always a struggle and sometimes other meals can be a struggle as well.  I have been lucky and only thrown up a few times, ok several times but it could have been worse.  We had our first ultrasound November 18th!! Baby Apple's heart beat was 141 bpm, which is a strong heart beat for only 7 weeks! We will not get another ultrasound until week 20 (which is when we find out if Baby Apple will be a boy or girl)! I CAN'T WAIT!!!  I will start that countdown after I hit the 2nd trimester! The day I went in they confirmed how far along I was and my exact due date, July 2nd!!  I am starting to wear maternity jeans but that is all for now, it is weird because I have lost 6 pounds but my pants won't fit because of the baby!  I would post belly pictures but I am still not really showing, I do have my small "baby bump", hopefully at the end of December there will be a lot more updates.  Here is a picture of our little angel!  :)

WE'RE HAVING A BABY!!!!!

Baby Apple expected due date is the end of June early July so I am right at 7 weeks!!!  The doctor was unsure of the due date only because of the length between cycles, etc. We have our 2nd appointment in 8 days and she will measure the baby and tell us for sure how far along I am!  We cannot wait, we get to hear the heartbeat!! :) I am so excited, the shock has worn off and the tiredness has set in!! Still hard to believe we are actually going to be parents!  I actually had no idea I was pregnant, my mother-in-law called me the week of my anniversary and asked me if I was pregnant and I thought well that's is strange, and I told her no I wasn't.  I spend time with her and Lily that weekend, she once again told me she thought I was pregnant and I went along thinking she was crazy! Also, another weird thing that happened was on our anniversary (before I knew I was preggo) we went and ate at Pei Wei and my fortune cookie said "There will be many surprises: unexpected gains are likely"  little did I know it was going to be weight gain on my part!!!   That Monday after work I thought that it wouldn't hurt to take a pregnancy test I had been feeling a little weird so I did expecting 1 pretty little line, well no it had 2.......2 LINES!!!! (which means +)   Anyway, after the first pregnancy test we ran to CVS bought the high tech test and sure enough, PREGNANT!!! I cried, laughed and cried some more! Everyone thinks our baby is a girl already, I use to refer to our little angel and "he" or "him" well in all these crazy dreams I have been having it has been a girl EVERY TIME so I am now convinced we will be having a girl only time will tell.  I haven't been too sick only little waves of it, no throwing up, just tired......really really tired!  I am not too much into sweets or fruit juices I am really liking BBQ, Mexican and Chinese (Hibachi Grill) and my husband is NOT complaining! :) I will update with pictures of our baby next week!  I can't wait, the 18th could NOT get here fast enough!!

Where did September go?

Can someone tell me where September went?  I am pretty sure I missed it.  We have been pretty busy on the weekends, even my cleaning routine has gone away, you should see my computer room right now.  In my attempts to organize, I think I made it worse.  BUT once it gets cooler and not 150 degrees in my attic Mikey is going to help me.  Today I am going to meet my good friend Maranda and have a girl date, I am so excited!  It has been awhile since I have seen her and went shopping.  Mike and I are also going to Zanie's Comedy Club tonight.  We saw Angelah Johnson (Bon Qui Qui, RUDE) there not too long ago and  it was a lot of fun so we wanted to go again! 

I am also SOO excited that it is now officially fall season.  It is my FAVORITE!! I even went running this morning.....ok running/walking but hey better than just sitting here, right?  The weather lady on Channel 2 keeps promising me cooler weather as of tomorrow so we shall see.  We have a couple of house projects that we are going to be working on in the next couple of months so I am sure you will hear about them.  We are going to refinish a piece of furniture his Mom gave us for our kitchen, I am pretty excited about it, we are going to use milk paint and sand it down and make it look "old county".  I want me whole house to look that way, but redecorating a house is expensive if you didn't know that already.  I am also going to attempt to make my niece's first birthday cake!  There are a couple of designs that Alisha likes so I am going to practice those before the party, I am so excited!   Another thing I love about fall, is TV!  All of my shows are back on!! GOSSIP GIRL, GREY'S ANATOMY, MODERN FAMILY, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER,  BIG BANG THEORY (Penny.....Penny....Penny)  My husband is such a trooper, he could really could care less about watching any of those but he sits and watches them with me anyway!  I love him!! :)  And here is a picture of him, just to make you smile, ok well to make me smile......HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!
